As we celebrate this important milestone, we look back on our journey so far, are grateful for what we have achieved to date, and look forward to the future with enthusiasm.
40 Years of Crafting Excellence
DK Fibreglass was founded in 1985 by Ken Regini, started with a vision to create superior GRP components for industries all over the world. From a small workshop in Lowestoft, the company has grown exponentially, expanding its capabilities and building a strong reputation for reliability and innovation. Today, under the leadership of Ross Regini, we continue to push boundaries, delivering cutting-edge GRP composites across multiple industries.
"Celebrating our 40th anniversary this month is a proud moment for myself and in celebrating the memory of my grandfather Ken Regini who started DK Fibreglass Works Ltd all those years ago! Some of my fondest and earliest memories are of finishing school for the day and going straight to my grandfather’s workshop where I would sit in the office for hours on end watching him and his team from the window hard at work. Then on the drive home he would always laugh and turn to me saying, 'I hope you are learning because one day it's going to be you doing it.'"

We have pioneered new GRP manufacturing techniques, adopted state-of-the-art technologies, and continuously improved our processes to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification reinforced our commitment to quality, ensuring that we meet the highest standards in every project we undertake.
One example of our standout achievements over the years include the creation of a monumental 30-foot Bugs Bunny statue made for Warner Bros. This project showcases our team's versatility and creativity, as we successfully executed the complex design and large-scale fabrication with precision.
In recent years, we have expanded our focus and now serve many industries, from automotive to marine, construction to industrial sectors, DK Fibreglass has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry, providing bespoke, long lasting GRP solutions.
Ross continues; "My grandfather taught me many things in life—from riding my first bike to running a business. However, the most important lesson he taught me was his work ethic. He truly believed in hard work, and he made sure every day to instill this in me. His legacy and memory live on through everything we do and accomplish here at DK Fibreglass Works Ltd.
Whilst some of the products that we produce stem from Ken’s initiative and designs I have over time modernised these and introduced new ideas and colour schemes. Along with gaining a strong foothold in the Commercial, subsea and renewable sectors.”
Expanding for the Future
As we celebrate 40 years, we are excited to announce major expansions that will elevate our production capacity and efficiency. Our new 5,000 sqft workshop, state-of-the-art spray booth, and 5,500 sqft secure storage yard are now fully operational, enabling us to take on even larger projects with enhanced precision and speed.
"With that in mind, we are excited for what the future has in store for us, having recently completed our expansion, allowing us to offer even more to our clients. These advancements mark a new chapter for DK Fibreglass, ensuring that we remain at the cutting edge of GRP composite manufacturing for decades to come."
