We’re delighted to share that DK Fibreglass Works has commenced a new contract with Welsh Water, working as part of the refurbishment of a water treatment plant.
This is a project we’re proud to be involved in, and it represents the result of several months of planning and preparation between both teams to ensure everything is set up for a smooth start on site. From early scoping discussions through to practical trials, the focus has been on getting the details right and confirming the best solution for the demands of the refurbishment.
A key part of the lead-in period has been prototype testing, including controlled trials and refinements to validate the approach. In addition, we’ve completed laboratory testing on all materials, providing additional assurance around performance, compatibility, and suitability — particularly important in water treatment environments where durability, safety, and long-term reliability are essential.
We value the collaborative approach that has been taken throughout this process, and we’re pleased to be working with Welsh Water as the project moves into delivery. Our team is looking forward to supporting the refurbishment works and contributing to a successful outcome for the site.
We’ll be sharing further updates as the project progresses. In the meantime, if you’d like to learn more about the work we deliver within the water and utilities sector, or you have an upcoming refurbishment project you’d like to discuss, please get in touch with DK Fibreglass Works — we’ll be happy to help.
